Here are more examples of women holding children to compare to SuperWoman:
So, she is holding the child HIGH and CLOSE, which provides mechanical advantage. We know exactly where her arm is: tucked under the bottom of the toddler. On the other side what we are seeing is far-fetched.
Here the woman has only a baby, but she still carries it HIGH and CLOSE, and she leans the other way to get mechanical advantage. But, on the other side, the woman is carrying the child like a waiter carries an empty tray.
On the left, the mother has the child sitting on her iliac crest, and the child is helping by gripping her with his legs. The mother is using two arms, not one, and we can see where they are, going around his torso and over his thigh. Plus, she is leaning to get counterbalance. But, not SuperWoman. No need for her to do it, eh?
On the left, she is holding him HIGH and CLOSE, which gives the mechanical advantage. Plus she is using two hands: one to hold him and the other to reinforce. And, she is leaning too to take the advantage that that gives. But not SuperWoman. She likes to do it the hard way. That girl reminds me of George Costanza when he rode the escalator for the disabled at Play Now Industries. They're in the exact same position.
