This settles it. There are no parallels between these two images. On the left, you've got counterbalance, with both the woman and child leaning different directions. You've got the weight of the child heaped high on the mother. You've got his arm running around her back, straddling her. You've got her leaning back so as to recruit the tensile strength of her ligaments, while it also involves the locking of the facet joints in the spine to get passive support. You've got all kinds of things going on to accommodate the lift, but on the right you've got nothing except two vertical human beings rising up against gravity without the slightest bit of accommodation or adjustment to each other. STOP SAYING THEY ARE THE SAME, UNGER!
