We have got to stop with the "abort team" nonsense. If authorities knew that JFK was going to be attacked in Dallas, they would have cancelled his trip. And that is exactly what they did in Chicago when they found out about the Chicago plot. JFK didn't have to watch the Army/Navy game. Heck with it. And it would have been the same way in Dallas. You cancel the freakin' trip. It would be insane to send him into a kill zone and hope that an "abort team" could stop it. As soon as you find out, you ax the trip. That's what you do. So stop with the "abort team" nonsense. This was not an episode of Mission Impossible.
