The top image is of Carl E. Linde, and that is from an article in the Chicago Sunday Tribune in 1937, which was 26 years prior to the JFK assassination. So, he had one long career, didn't he? Because, he looks middle-aged there, and 1963 was 26 years later, so he was a pretty old fart by then. 

Here is another of his images from 1952.


So, he had a very long career as an AP photographer. So, why would they have him writing captions on 11/22/63?
