WOW! Our newest senior member, Tom Cahill, is wasting no time in his activism. He is a member of Veterans for Peace, and he just sent this out to the VFP members:

A United States Marine Corps veteran, executed without trial, has lain in his grave fifty-two years accused of the especially heinous crime of regicide.

Lee Harvey Oswald did NOT assassinate Pres. John Kennedy.  And the alleged murder weapon--a vintage, poorly-manufactured, slow-firing, Italian carbine (NOT a rifle)--did NOT fire the fatal bullets.

Especially USMC vets--members of Veterans For Peace--owe it to Oswald, his widow, his children, and to our country to honor his role in exposing the truth about who killed Pres. Kennedy and why.  A videotaped ceremony at Oswald's gravesite would be a fitting start at clearing Oswald's name of the infamous murder in Dallas, 22 November 1963, that in reality was a coup d'etat still in effect in the USA.

Perhaps only a "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" with no government members will ever close this still "cold case" of the public execution of both Pres. Kennedy and Lee H. Oswald.
