Oswald and Lovelady really didn't look that much alike. In the face, Lovelady was much harder-looking. Oswald still had a youthful face. Lovelady was officially 2 years older, but he looked older than that. 

And in the body, they looked nothing alike. How could they? Oswald was skinny: 5'9" 131 pounds, but Lovelady was hefty: 5'8" 170 pounds. At least that's what he weighed on Feb 29 when the FBI weighed him. But, he may have weighed more than that on 11/22/63. His life was very stressful after the assassination, and many people lose weight when they are under stress.
