Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

This is Jerry Organ's second poster made for John McAdams concerning the Doorman issue. This one displays several media reports about the issue: one from the October 1964 LIFE magazine, which I have; one from Tink Thompson's book Six Seconds in Dallas, one from Argosy magazine from July 1975, and one from the Los Angeles Free Press 1978. 

That Tink didn't include any revealing images of Oswald to show how stunning the resemblance is to Doorman, such as the one below, doesn't surprise me at all because Tink was NEVER an advocate of Oswald in the Doorman; he always played the role of debunker. 

But, that LA Free Press article really intrigues me. 

Unfortunately, the print is too small and blurry for me to make it out at all; I can only look at the pictures. And there is one small image of Oswald in his shirt. However, it's far from being the best one they could have used. His arm is raised and his t-shirt is only minimally exposed. In fact, we're seeing much more exposed t-shirt on Lovelady than we are on Oswald, even though it doesn't reflect the reality. And why is the image of Oswald so dark? It wasn't that way. 

But, the question is: did the Los Angeles Free Press really publish the image as darkly as it appears in Jerry Organ's chart, or did Jerry darken it? The only way to find out is to obtain a copy of the issue, which I will try to do. 

If it turns out that Jerry Organ did that- the darkening- then you might as well say he had a gun in his hand and was part of the conspiracy. But, it will hinge on whether I can find a copy of the newspaper or not.  Am I suspicious? You bet I am. Am I going to try to find a copy of that thing? In earnest.
