Backes, the motorcycle cops weren't right or left from the photographer's perspective, and that's true whether it was Mary Moorman or Babushka Lady. 

And that's why I referred to it as north and south. I do the same thing with the TSBD doorway, always referring to east and west sides of it and never right or left. The moment you use those words, it comes down to whose perspective, and that has to be qualified.
