she was part of the CIA doings and a greater conspiracy; thus would take
it as a piece of Inside Joke, history.

That's an interesting speculation, Curt. I appreciate the effort.
But, the thing is: the framed drawing on Marguerite's wall is quite different from the TIME magazine cover. The background is different. Presumably, it was just one drawing. So, why the disparity?
And the other thing is: it is not a flattering photo of Oswald. He looks disturbed. He looks disturbing. And I'm sure that was the whole idea to depict him as this disturbed guy who was living in his own twisted world.
But, why would a mother want to hang such a disturbing picture of her son on her wall?
I've known a lot of mothers in my life, and at age 64, I still have my own mother. It is not something that a mother would do. She would hang nice pictures of her son.
