The people who are fighting me about this are really being foolish. There is nothing even at stake for them. What difference does it make who took the Moorman photo? It has no effect on Oswald's guilt or innocence. It has no bearing on whether Oswald was standing in the doorway. It has no bearing on whether the Altgens photo was altered or even whether the Moorman photo was altered. That's because Mary admits that police came and confiscated her photo that evening. So, if she took it, it could have been altered just as easily as if she didn't take it. No matter who took the Moorman photo, it could have been altered.  

So, why am I making such a big stink about it? Because the Laws of Physics tell us that she could not have taken it, that she wasn't turned or positioned properly to take it, that if she had waited until the motorcycle cops were in front of her that Clint Hill would have been in her picture. Plus, it is wacky to think that Mary Moorman would have had her camera trained on the Kennedys before they even reached her but waited until they had passed her to actually press the shutter. Nobody would do that, and she didn't do it. 

In other words, it just happens to be true, as inconsequential as it is, that she didn't take it. And I expect people, whether they are my friends or my adversaries, to be rational about it. I also expect them to be mature and refrain from casting it as me heartlessly hurting the feelings of an old woman. For Goodness sake, we can't decide who took the Moorman photo based on wanting to be nice to Mary Moorman. That's ridiculous. I expect people to stop behaving like children.
