The Physics Prof took a couple of pictures with his cell phone to demonstrate his point.

So, this is comparable to the photo that Mary Moorman would have taken, standing perpendicular on Elm Street. Notice that the line of the street is horizontal, and so would be the line of the base of the limo.

Look at the line of the carpet as it junctions with the linoleum. It's horizontal, right? And it's parallel with the bottom edge of the picture, right? But now, look what happens when he shifted to his right.

So, he went to the corner on his right to take that picture. But, it's his location that causes the line to no longer be horizontal. And it's the same in the Moorman photo.

Why is that a diagonal line? It's because the photographer took it at a diagonal. Who in this photo was standing at a diagonal to the limo?

And that is the moment of the Moorman photo. It may be off by a frame or two, but, for all practical purposes, that is the Moorman photo.
