I started wondering why the Marines would take a recruit's picture in front of a height ledger, and then it dawned on me: it's fake. It shows him as 5'9". Exactly 5'9". Perfectly 5'9". But, look how long his head is. His chin goes below 4'9" on the chart. So, that would mean that his head had a length of over one foot. You've heard of foot-long hotdogs? Well, this was a foot-long head.
Or was it? Heads aren't that long. I measured mine with a ruler, and it was a little more than 8 inches. And then, I looked it up, and this is what I found:
Height of an average human head:
Male: 9.4 in / 23.9 cm for 99th percentile
8.6 in / 21.8 cm for 50th percentile
So, the mean length is 8.6 inches, and even if you take it up to the 99th percentile, which is like the outer limits, it's only 9.4 inches. Where does that leave room for a 12+ inch long head? Only in the evil JFK assassination realm.
Here's the link to it if you don't believe me:

So, why'd they do it? They did it because the Oswald of fame was known to be 5'9", and they were trying to send the message that this was the Oswald of fame. But, the other Lee Harvey Oswald, the real one, was two inches taller, so 5'11", and they were trying to hide the fact that that is who he is, not the Oswald of fame.
Photographic flim-flamery prevails to such a nauseating degree in the JFK assassination that one has to wonder if there is a single non-manipulated, unaltered image anywhere.
