Now, how, in the name of Pete, could anyone interpret that to mean that she let him pass her a long ways and then shot him from behind?

It is preposterous. She didn't do that. She has never said she did that. She definitely took her photo before he passed her. The Moorman photo was NOT taken by Mary Moorman.
