The irony is that, on the other side of the street, there is another cop on a motorcycle, Chaney, on whom we can clearly see his left arm but not his right.  Why should it be any different for Martin? I put an arrow to remind you the direction from which she's shooting. 

Why should it be any different for Martin than for Chaney? How could she possibly capture his right arm but not his left? She couldn't. She didn't. It's bogus. She would have had to be leaning over his lap to get such a picture excluding his left side. But, she was on the grass.
