If you are an Oswald defender, you don't have the right to assume that he would rather sit in a lunch room doing nothing rather than watch the President of the United States drive by, a man he respected and admired.

In fact, you don't have the right to assume that he would rather sit in a lunch room eating lunch rather than see the President of the United States drive by because, like everyone else, he had 45 minutes to do that. They let the employees off for lunch 15 minutes early, at 11:45, precisely so that they could get their eating and drinking out of the way before the motorcade arrived.

Oswald knew the President was coming. He discussed it with James Jarman that morning. So, why would he put off eating his cheese sandwich and apple until 12:30 when he had 45 minutes to do it? What did he have to do instead during those 45 minutes?

Marina didn't even get up that morning when he left, and I doubt Ruth Paine fixed him a hearty breakfast. So, why wouldn't he be ready to eat at noon? What would he put it off for?

What reason do you, an Oswald defender, have to assume that he had any less interest in seeing Kennedy than anyone else there?

And if you're not sure, as an Oswald defender, who are you going to give the benefit of the doubt to? I am talking about the benefit of the doubt that he would behave normally for the situation that he was in. I mean that he would have the values and priorities that you, or anyone, would expect him to have in that situation.

What reason do you, as an Oswald defender, have to fight the idea that he was the doorway? You can't tell me you have another place to put him- because you don't.

Whether you realize it or not, too much has happened, too much has been revealed, too many pieces of the puzzle have been put into place. There is no longer any obscurity about this. If you are unwilling to admit that Oswald was in that doorway- or at the very least grant that it was the most likely location for him- then STOP calling yourself an Oswald defender because you are not one. You are an Oswald accuser.
