It was a smart move to get rid of that east face. That's because when you see that south face, flush like it's two-dimensional, you get the clear impression that it was taken from directly across the street- where Mary was.
It's not something that most people will register on consciously, but below the conscious level, it gets into their head and makes the impression.
But, when you see the east face...
You start thinking that it was taken from the southeast. Not south, but southeast. And again, it isn't so much conscious as subconscious.
Also, it proves the diagonal nature of the image. Both Jean Hill and Mary Moorman said that she photographed the President when he was "even" with them. Even. That's the word they both used.
Well, if she was shooting the President at even, then it was one straight shot to him and on to Zapruder and the pedestal.
I have to wonder: what image did the real Moorman photo, the one that Mary actually took, contain that they were willing to go to this much trouble to replace it? It must have been something deadly to the official story.
