Now, it's time for a little speculating. You notice that the 2nd Wiegman Doorman (who is seen when Wiegman panned the doorway a second time) is bald. So, why is he bald? He can't be Oswald because Oswald wasn't bald. Was Lovelady bald?
I presume everyone agrees that can't be Oswald. But, is it Lovelady? Roy Lewis said that Lovelady was practically bald on top at the time of the assassination.
The Wiegman film was NOT made public right away. I don't recall exactly when it was, but it was years later. So, that means they had years to alter it. The Altgens photo was altered immediately- that very afternoon- and I am convinced that they didn't know at the time that Lovelady had gone bald. They gave Doorman Lovelady's hairline from 1957, not knowing that Lovelady had lost most of his hair. 6 years can make a lot of difference.
But, what if they weren't thinking about that when they altered the Wiegman film? What if they wanted to put a Lovelady figure in it and by then, they were fully aware that Lovelady was bald at the time? Of course, in Feb 1964, the FBI sent images of Lovelady with hair to the Warren Commission.
But, at the time, they were trying to match Lovelady to the Altgens Doroman. But, maybe the people who altered the Wiegman film weren't thinking about that or didn't even know about it. Many times, the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Maybe all they were thinking about was installing an accurate image of Lovelady into that empty spot in the Wiegman doorway.
Above, how can they both be valid images of Billy Lovelady when in one he's as bald as Yul Brenner and in the other he has substantial hair?
This isn't a problem for me; it's a problem for "them."
But, I'm wondering if we should take this as additional proof that Lovelady was indeed bald at the time of the assassination? In other words, the image on the left, which is completely fake, is more representative of Lovelady's actual hair at the time than the real image on the right, which is a real image of him but not his hair.
