What is so ridiculous about this is: What does it mean to be with somebody? If you exit a building to go home, and you pass someone you know who is out there, does that constitute being "out with Bill Shelley in front"?

No, that's incidental. The implication of being "out with Bill Shelley in front" is, first, that it was a location at which he was settled. He took a position there. He was situated there. That's the first thing, but the second thing is that to "be" with someone means so much more than just passing them. I passed Sandra Bullock at the Austin airport once. I passed Andie MacDowell in the parking lot of Whole Foods once.  But, I don't claim to have been with either one of them.

But, Oswald said that he was "out with Bill Shelley in front" and the implication of that is that they were both situated there; parked there. And they were doing something together, and what they were doing was watching the Presidential motorcade.

There is no logical or theoretical basis to apply such wording to merely passing somebody as you were leaving for home.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again now that bpete is a child. He's a man in his 50s, but he is a child. And because he is a child, his arguments are always very immature, as this one is. I know he is a paid cyber hitman and a street hitman, but he is still a child.
