Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

OIC Chairman Larry Rivera found this memorandum which adds further proof that the Altgens6 photo did not hit the wires at 1 PM.

There is a similar memo that we've known about for a long time. You may not be able to read it, but it states that the figure in the doorway has similar features of Oswald and similar clothes of Oswald. And it says that immediately after it was taken and developed, which took time, that it was forwarded to the AP office in New York, and then,  subsequently transmitted to other AP offices around the country. 

Now, the implication is that they did not send it out to the world, that they wanted their people to examine it first. And then, it states in plain English that "before doing this" that is, releasing the photo to the newspapers, "they wanted some statement from the FBI as to whether or not these two individuals are identical." The two individuals, of course,  being Oswald and Doorway Man. 

Do you understand that we have it in writing that Altgens6 did NOT go out at 1:03 PM, and therefore, James Norwood, what those old codgers from the newspaper in Wisconsin recollected to you is bull shit. This tells you that it's bull shit.

And then it says that the FBI when contacted was not prepared to make a statement about it right away, so a decision was made NOT to release the photo.  

Then, the next page is the damage control.

 It says that the photo was taken to Roy Truly, the "warehouse manager" (other times called the building superintendent) and he said that, yes, the guy looks like Oswald but he's really Billy Lovelady. 

Now, I've told you before, and I hope you haven't fogotten, that Truly was dirty. He was CIA. The TSBD was a CIA front company doing clandestine activities, including unlawful ones, under the guise of distributing school books. ROY TRULY IS THE ONE WHO REPORTED OSWALD MISSING TO THE POLICE, AND OBVIOUSLY WITH AND AIR OF GREAT CONCERN THAT HE WAS PROBABLY THE KILLER, WHICH WAS THE EXACT OPPOSITE ATTITUDE HE PORTRAYED TO OFFICER BAKER WHEN BAKER ASKED HIM ABOUT OSWALD. "Him? Nah. He works for me." Oh, what a difference an hour makes.  They just wanted to get Oswald armed before they had their arrest showdown with him. So, the fact that Truly said that Doorway Man was Lovelady means nothing and less than nothing. It means something negative; something opposite. It means that Doorway Man was Oswald. 

Then it says that on the 25th, Lovelady was shown the photo. No!  Shit no! Lovelady said it was the night after the assassination, the 23rd. Then it says that Lovelady confirmed that it was him and that he saved a copy of the photo as a memento.  Huh,. Who knows if that's true. It could be creative writing. But here's the bottom line:

There was really no mystery. CIA PHOTO ALTERERS SPENT HOURS DOCTORING THE PHOTO, MOVING OVER LOVELADY'S HAIRLINE AND THE TOP OF HIS HEAD IN ORDER TO TURN DOORMAN  WHO WAS OSWALD, INTO LOVELADY.  I'm sure there were people who were genuinely in the dark, but those in charge, those at the top, knew exactly what was going on.  Why didn't the dumb plucks have the brains to just destroy the Altgens photo as soon as they saw that Oswald was in it?  The arrogant pwicks got exactly what they deserved, for here it is 56 years later, and the whole thing has blown up and been exposed to the light of day.
