This video of Abraham Zapruder on television includes the Zapruder film at the end of it, but it's unique. What you see clearly in it is JFK waving at the spectators and then suddenly, he puts his hand over his face. He covers his face with his hand. I have never seen it in such clarity before. And be aware that I don't think he did it. He couldn't have because Jackie was looking at him at the time, and she would have seen it and reported it. In fact, she said that he had a "quizzical" look on his face when she first realized that something was wrong. So, the face-covering was an alteration, and I believe it was done to hide the startled and distressed look on his face. But, it's crystal clear here that he stopped waving and stopped interacting with the spectators long before he disappeared behind the freeway sign.
