There is a false claim that FBI Agent James Bookhout was 6 feet tall or taller. It is a lie. He was short, about 5'6". Here is a photo of him from high school, where he was in the ROTC. It was Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, and the year was 1931. He is the short, portly kid, about the middle of the bottom row.
And I have compared that image of him to the Garage Shooter, in which you can see the great likeness. That photo was taken on the 3rd floor a couple minutes after they got the Shooter inside the Jail Office. He was standing in the dark next to the elevator, surrounded by detectives. Why in the dark? You'll have to ask them. The light for this photo was from the flash of an NBC camera. James Bookhout was short, just like the Garage Shooter of Oswald.
Now, if anyone knows what his height was, it has to be his son, Constable Jim Bookhout. So, all he would have to do is post family photos of his tall father, and if they are believable and unequivical, that would settle it. But, he hasn't done it, and he's not going to do it because he certainly knows that his father wasn't tall.
