Joseph Backes apparently hasn't read JFK and the Unspeakable by Jim Douglass. Either that or he doesn't agree with it. Because, Jim Douglass wrote extensively about the use of Oswald doubles.
He wrote of the Oswald double who was sent to the shooting range where he was shooting diagonally at other people's targets. You don't think our Lee Harvey Oswald was doing that, do you?
He wrote about the Oswald who got rowdy at the car dealership where he said he would be coming into money soon and would be buying an expensive car. You don't think that was our Lee Harvey Oswald, do you?
He wrote of multiple Oswald doubles in Mexico, and our Lee Harvey Oswald didn't even go to Mexico. He said so himself. He said he never went to Mexico except to go to Tijuana with his Marine buddies when he was stationed close to there. Hey, I know what that's about. When I was a student at UCLA, we would go down to Tijuana too. Oswald NEVER went to Mexico City, and even Mark Lane says so. So, any sightings of him there had to be doubles.
And Jim Douglass also cited the use of doubles on 11/22/63. He said that an Oswald double was led out the back of the Texas Theater and was seen by a shop owner. And he said that this Oswald double wound up on the same cargo plane as Robert Vinson which flew to New Mexico. So, even as pertains to 11/22/63, Jim Douglass wrote of one or more Oswald doubles.
So, when we see this collage and recognize the great likeness between Oswald and the other figure, we have to consider that the other guy- if he wasn't Oswald- had to be an Oswald double.
What's the alternative? To assume that he's just a guy who happened to be there and just happened to look like and dress like Lee Harvey Oswald? By sheer coincidence?
Well, if that's what you think, Backes, then I have just two words for you: Shove Arches.
