I've said for a long time that the shirt of the Altgens Doorman isn't plaid, that it just has weird, splotchy contrast that is due to haze, distortion, and light reflection. It has no vertical and horizontal lines crossing and forming boxes, and therefore, no plaid. But what about the Wiegman Doorman? His shirt doesn't show any contrast at all. It just looks grainy- like Oswald's shirt. Here he is next to Gorilla Man from the Martin film, whom they claim was Lovelady, though he really wasn't. But just compare the shirts. How could that flashy, geometric pattern on the fake Lovelady get completely and totally washed out on the Wiegman Doorman? What possible photographic reason could there be for that? How about that they are different shirts and different men?
