Robin Unger submitted the image on the right from the Nix film to indicate when Mary Moorman took her photo. She doesn't actually have her camera raised to her eye at the time, which doesn't seem to bother Robin.
But notice that he concedes that the Moorman photo was taken by a photographer who was behind all the motorcycle cops and to the left of them.
Well, if you are behind and to the left of a motorcycle cop, how can you possibly capture his right arm in a photo without capturing his left when his left arm is between you and his right arm?
Look at this collage. The motorcycle cop in the modern picture was photographed the same way: from behind and from the left. Notice that you can't see his right arm at all. But, even if you could see it, you certainly couldn't see it without seeing his left as well. There is no way to take the picture and cut the left side of him out when you are shooting him from the left side. So, what we're seeing of BJ Martin's right arm in the Moorman photo is a crock o' shit. It's impossible.
