So, the idea that a woman, standing left of this scene, aimed her camera at it but failed to pick up the left side of Martin, even though she was shooting left to right, and her camera view had to go through his left side before it could get to his right, is preposterous.

This can't happen. The only possible way is if you cropped the photo. How could she image his right hand but not his left when she was shooting from the left side?
