Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

The Wizard, God bless him, has come up with another James Bookhout sighting- at least one that we suspect. It involves two images, and we'll start with this one. 

So, that's the figure there right through the glass behind the door. And the thing about the image is that it is altered. If you look closely, you'll see that he has no discernible mandible or jaw. He is all neck from the ear down, and that is impossible.

Where is his jaw? It's missing. Compare it to a normal man.

Old Ollie has got a jaw. So, somebody went to the trouble of obscuring and falsifying that image on the left, and why would they do that unless he was James Bookhout? 

But, then there is this related image:

So we're talking about the man behind Fritz, who looks like he may be hiding behind him, like he doesn't want to be photographed. Where have we seen that before? And note that this is a powerhouse photo because there is Fritz; there is Curry to our right, and that's DA Henry Wade on our left. And between Wade and Fritz is a Dallas detective whom I should recognize, but his name escapes me. And note that there is a man behind Bookhout in a darker suit with a higher shoulder. 

So, there are three men there. The suspected image of Bookhout is between Fritz and the man behind, and Bookhout is wearing a lighter colored suit (in greyscale) than the other two men. Let's compare him to known images of Bookhout.

 Yes, that is not bad at all. No deal-breakers. And note that they may have messed with the image on the right, for instance, closing his eyes. Why would he have his eyes closed? And they've done it before.

Notice that the hats match well except that it seems more like a top hat on the right, which they probably did to increase his height. But, lo and behold, they both just happened to have their eyes closed. The image on the right is from outside the Homicide Bureau at 6:30 Saturday evening right before they went into Fritz' office to hold the 6:30 interrogation. That's where Oswald went up to Bookhout in the hallway to speak to him. He said something like, "So, what have you got against Broby?"

We believe this is the same guy that Amy Joyce found at the Midnight Press Conference.

Those are definitely the same guy. It's Amy's find on the left, and Wizard's on the right.

So, it's looking very good that this is indeed another image of James Bookhout. Let's look at one last collage.

Yes, indeed, that is the same guy, although once again, on the right, they went with that top hat look to give him more height. That was when Bookhout followed Oswald's stretcher out to the garage, which he said he did.  

But, we indeed have ourselves another image of James Bookhout. Way to go, Wiz.
