Robin, what is wrong with you? I showed you the other version of the newsreel on Youtube which does not include the muzzle flash.

So, you refer me to a GOVERNMENT website, and you think that makes it legit?

https://catalog.archives.gov/id/2050693

So, let's take a look at what it says there on that GOVERNMENT website. It says that the source of this newsreel is:

MCA/Universal Pictures

Notice that it says the newsreel was created on 11/28/63, four days after the shooting. But, who was there on 11/24/63 in the garage shooting the film? It doesn't say. It only says who made the newsreel: MCA/Universal.

But, that is deceptive because MCA and Universal were two totally separate companies in 1963. MCA refers to Music Corporation of America. Universal refers to Universal Studios. They didn't merge until the turn of the 21st century. So, they weren't MCA/Universal in 1963; they were MCA and Unversal. So, which one made the newsreel, or was it a joint venture of both companies?

Answer: Universal made it. You only have to look at the beginning of the newsreel. It says that it was made by Universal International News:

Universal Newsreel (sometimes known as Universal-International Newsreel or just U-I Newsreel) was a series of 7- to 10-minute newsreels that were released twice a week between 1929 and 1967 by Universal Studios. A Universal publicity official, Sam B. Jacobson, was involved in originating and producing the newsreels.[1] Nearly all of them were filmed in black-and-white, and many were narrated by Ed Herlihy. From January 1919 to July 1929, Universal released International Newsreel, produced by Hearst's International News Service—this series later became Hearst Metrotone News released first by Fox Film Corporation 1929-1934 and then by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer beginning in 1934.
In 1976, the films' owner, MCA, made the unusual decision to turn over ownership of all of the newsreels to the National Archives. The decision effectively ended Universal's copyright claim, releasing the films into the public domain. Because royalties no longer have to be paid in order to broadcast them, Universal Newsreels have become a popular source of file footage in recent years. The History Channel made them a key part of the TV series Year-By-Year. Also, C-SPAN and CNN regularly use the films for video of events that took place before those networks were founded.

And this is what Wikipedia says about Universal:

Universal Studios (known professionally as Universal Pictures and also simply referred to as Universal) is an American film studio owned by Comcast through the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group division of its wholly owned subsidiary NBCUniversal.[1] The company was founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle, Mark Dintenfass, Charles O. Baumann, Adam Kessel, Pat Powers, William Swanson, David Horsley, Robert H. Cochrane, and Jules Brulatour, and is the oldest surviving film studio in the United States, the world's fourth oldest after GaumontPathé and Nordisk Film, and the oldest in terms of the overall film market[citation needed]. Its studios are located in Universal CityCalifornia, and its corporate offices are located in New York City. Universal Studios is a member of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and is one of Hollywood's "Big Six" studios.

So, are we supposed to believe that Universal Pictures had a cameraman in that garage on 11/22/63?  I doubt it.
The newsreel first shows the NBC footage, without identifying it. Even though the blurb on Universal Studios mentions it being connected to NBCUniversal, that is a modern development. NBC Universal didn't materialize until the 21st century in 2004, which was a result of the General Electric buyout of NBC. So, in 1963, NBC was a totally separate company from Universal.

So, the Universal newsreel features the NBC footage which they got, presumably, from NBC. And then it also has the other one. But, where did they get it? They had to get it from somebody.

Why is it being concealed who took that other more revealing footage?

And one more thing: they provide the text of the original newsreel:

The original release sheet reads:

PRESIDENT'S SLAYER SHOT IN DALLAS JAIL:
Madness and hate erupt anew in Dallas as President Kennedy's accused assassin is shot down during a jail transfer. Here is the record as Lee Harvey Oswald walks his last mile. Two cameras record the moment as the murderer moves in. Forty-eight hours and seven minutes after the President's death, his accused slayer is dead.

THE WORLD MOURNS

JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY
1917 - 1963

The final act in the tragedy of JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY, 35TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is one of the most memorable in history. Kings, Queens, Presidents, Premiers, Princes and Princesses, Emperors and Dictators - they come from the far corners of the earth to pay tribute to the man who had served the world while he served the nation.

From the moment his casket is borne from the White House to lie in state at the Capitol it is a drama filled with high emotion. All through the night people file past the bier. Some standing in a l0-mile-long line for as long as 12 hours. To pray. To mourn. To weep.

Then the cortege winds from the Capitol to Saint Matthew's Cathedral for a Pontifical Funeral Mass while Mrs. Kennedy walks for six long blocks behind the caisson drawn by six white horses.

After the religious rites the cortege proceeds to the cemetery of Heroes -ARLINGTON -where the martyred President will rest. At the end of the solemn, heart-rending graveside honors, Mrs. Kennedy lights a flame that will burn forever in his memory.

REST IN PEACE

What that does not include is the text that accompanied the second film, the one shrouded in mystery.  I'll tell you what the narrator said during it:

Now, from another camera, the motion is slowed. The murderer moves in, and here is the shame of all America, when Jack Rubenstein takes the law onto himself.

And that's when they fix for several seconds on the frozen frame which looks very much like the Jackson photo:

I've shown how it "jumps" to get to that frame, and that the lighting changes, and the film never starts rolling again after it. So, we never see that Jackson-like frame within a moving picture.

Now, let's consider that Universal was a movie-making company. They knew about making movies. They had the technology; they had the latest advances. So, were they recruited by the CIA to make this?

But regardless, SOMEBODY HAD TO BE IN THAT GARAGE ON 11/24/63 SHOOTING THE FILM, AND THAT IS BEING KEPT SECRET.

And apparently, the original version which came out on 11/28/63 didn't include the second clip, since we don't see the text for it in the original printed narrative. So, when was it added? And by whom? But apparently, it didn't originally contain the muzzle flash since we don't see it here:

Watch it, and you'll see that it's exactly the same except that there is no muzzle flash.  It was put up by a guy named Kesselring, but I don't know who he is.

Robin, for Goodness sake: this was made by a movie company, Universal Pictures, which puts fake muzzle flashes into films all the time. And why another version exists without the muzzle flash, I do not know, but I don't think we can assume that someone took the muzzle flash out of it because no one would do that. The muzzle flash must have been put into the one that has it.  The muzzle flash is fake. I didn't say you faked it, but somebody did.
