The Jackson photo shows the shooter firing with his middle finger on the trigger. So, my middle finger is pulling the trigger here. And my index finger is just left along the barrel, ready to receive those hot gases that explode out of the cylinder gap. And it's more than a little bit awkward. It feels totally wrong. Nobody with an intact hand would fire a gun this way, and Jack Ruby had an intact right hand. They must have thought that his right hand was the one with the amputated index finger, but no, that was his left hand. Ruby's right hand was perfectly normal, and he certainly would have fired the gun the normal way, using his index finger. So, the shooter in the Jackson photo, who is using his middle finger, can't possibly be Jack Ruby. That is no longer in doubt.
