You've heard of Oswald in the doorway? Well, this is Lovelady in the loft. And, I consider it a sure thing that it is.

For one thing, Billy said he was there. He said that he and Bill Shelley took the cops up to the 6th floor. Why they needed taking, I don't know. But, that guy sure ain't Shelley, so he must be Lovelady.

The only other name that has ever been proposed is Larry Craford. Larry Craford? Larry Craford worked for Jack Ruby at the Carousel Club. So, what would he be doing there on the 6th floor of the Texas Book Depository? The baited buffs are just plain stupid.

And there is good correlation to other images of Lovelady, and I'll use the only one that is completely reliable, from Mark Lane:
We don't see his ear protruding on the left, but the whole area is completely distorted, either accidentally or on purpose. And he seems to have a lot more hair, but I really suspect that that was doctored. After all, they weren't that far apart in time, so how could he from so much to so little? He really took the assassination hard, did he? Backes said he started mourning right there in the doorway; went into a Zen state.

There's Popeye, in his goatee and his toga outfit, his mighty muscular arm from hauling all those orders to Troy West, and the longest hand in the history of hands. And, he's got the face of Sigmund Freud. What a freak show.

They're creepy and they're kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They're all together ooky,
The Weigman Family

But, getting back to Lovelady:

Let's really blow it up:

That opening isn't round; it isn't vee either; it looks square. I don't think t-shirts come like that.

So, I'm thinking that that's not a t-shirt. I figure it's the same shirt he was wearing on his stroll, and they whited out the stripes and gave it that weird opening. But in any case, he sure isn't this guy:
