The people who still maintain that Oswald killed Kennedy are either extremely stupid or extremely evil because there are so many dealbreakers that make impossible. Do you understand that there is no basis for Oswald having had a rifle in Ruth Paine's garage. Ruth Pain drove Oswald to the bus station when he moved to New Orleans, and Marina wnet along to see him off. Both testiffied about it and neither claimed that he took a rifle with him. So, you can't even get the riifle to New Orleans, never mind bring it back from New Orleans.
But, the rifle's return trip to Dallas is just as ludicrous as its non-existent trip to to New Orleans. Supposedly, Osawld snuck his rifle in Ruth Paine's station wagon, knowing that she was a pacifist who hated guns. Supposedly, he just hoped that somehow the rifle would be put in her garage without her knowing and remain there. Remember: he was going to be out of the loop. So apparently, he just crossed his fingers and hoped for the best for his poor, unloved rifle. But, nobody would do that. Oswald had friends in New Orelans, and he could have left the rifle with them. But then again, he didn't have a rifle in New Orleans. Adn then again, he didn't have a rifle at all. If you haven't read John Armstrong's narrative about how the FBI concocted the whole story of Oswald mail-ordering a rifle from Chicago, you need to:

Oswald, supposedly, had a rifle sent to his P.O. Box, one in which the only name on it was Lee Harvey Oswald, but he had it sent to A. Hidell. What do you think the Post Office was going to do if a rifle was sent to A. Hidell to the P.O. box of Lee Harvey Oswald? How was he going to get the rifle? It couldn't have been put in the P.O. Box. He would have had to go to the counter and asked for it. But, how was he going to explain that? How likely is it that, no matter what the explanation was, that A. Hidell's rifle would have been given to him?
And here's a thought: if the object was to get the rifle, why not order it in the name of Lee Harvey Oswald? Why use an alias? It wasn't a crime to order a rifle. And if the idea was to avoid associating the rifle with Lee Harvey Oswald, then why have it sent to the P.O. Box of Lee Harvey Oswald? It's not like he was already planning to kill Kennedy. And he never, ever planned to kill Kennedy. On the morning of the assassination, Oswald didn't know why people were gathering on the sidewalk outside. He asked James Jarman, and Jarman told him about the motorcade passing the building. Oswald wasn't putting on an act. Why would he do that? To use what he asked Jarman as an ignorance alibi? But, he didn't use it. We didn't learn about it from Oswald. We learned about it from Jarman.
Did you know that Bonnie Ray Williams ate his lunch, alone, on the 6th floor of the Book Depository on 11/22/63? He said he ate some fried chicken and washed it down with a Dr. Pepper. The empty bottle of Dr. Pepper were found on the 6th floor by a Detective Johnson. Look at the picture.
Well, if that's what Bonnie Ray was doing, how could Oswald have gone up there, decided on the eastern most window, built the Sniper's Nest, and reassembled his nonexistent rifle, using a dime as a screwdriver (which the Warren Commission assumed) without Bonnie Ray becoming away of it?
And speaking of becoming aware, how did Oswald get up in the middle of the night at Ruth Paine's house, go to the garage, find the rifle wrapped in a blanket, transfer the pieces to a bag that he built out of brown paper and tape, and then go back to bed without Ruth or Marina, with whom he was sharing a bed, becoming aware of it? Did they sleep that soundly? Did Marina not smell garage on him when he got back into bed?
This is just the tip of the iceberg. The claim that Oswald killed Kennedy is so preposterous that it is just plain evil. That the belief that he did it still persists at all in this country speaks of the severe rot that exists in this country. We hear so much about monstrous killings in our country: at schools, at shopping malls, at churches, in homes, etc. But, the monstrous klilings on the weekend of 11/22/63 were done, not by those kind of lunatics, but by men in high places, in positions of power, and of high respectability. It was those men who framed Oswald and killed Oswald, after killing Kennedy. The magnitude of their evil that weekend is still affecting us today, and that, more than anything else, is why it matters.
