It's Springtime in Texas, and therefore, time for a song. I decided to do an old standard from 1930 that is still very popular today. If you look on Youtube, you'll find all kinds of people doing this song: professionals, amateurs, males, females, young people, old people. And, i know why: it's because it makes you feel good. It harkens back to an earlier time when life was simple and innocent, when you could walk your Sweetheart back home late at night without a care in the world. There were no assassinations, no terror attacks, and no crazed gunmen going berserk at schools or shopping malls. With music by Fred Ahlert and lyrics by Roy Turk, it's called:
Walking My Baby Back Home
Walking My Baby Back Home
