In case anyone missed this, there are 6 fingers on the left hand of the shooter in Beers.
The thumb doesn't show. Its knuckle isn't lined up with the other fingers. The thumb is "opposed" to the other fingers, as we say in studying Anatomy. So, on the right, that can't be the thumb; it has to be the index finger.
