So, O.J. Simpson got released from prison today, and prison officials in Nevada did it in the dead of night- after midnight- and it was reported that only 3 other people were informed of it. And in Simpson's case, I didn't hear a word about anyone threatening his life. In Oswald's case, they kept saying over and over that 100 or more threats came in (in those days, murder threats were phoned in to the police department) and they kept saying on the radio how worried they were that someone was going to attack him. Yet, they did their transfer of Oswald at 11:20 in the morning with lots of fanfare, broadcasting it all over the airways, and a mob of reporters and cameramen present. Is there something that Nevada officials know about how to protect people that Dallas officials don't know? How smart did they have to be to just move Oswald in the dead of night and then announce the next morning that it had been done?
Who's going to try to defend what the Dallas Police did? Come on; step up to the plate. Tell us why there was nothing reckless and irresponsible about it. Give us the long and short of why their actions were justified. After all, if you think it's real, that Dallas Police really were trying to protect Oswald but Jack Ruby just got the better of them, then let's hear from you. Let's hear you defend them. Let's hear you make excuses for them. Let's hear you take their side. It's just a shame, isn't it? There they were, doing everything in their power to protect Oswald, but who could have stopped Jack Ruby? It wasn't humanly possible. You can't blame the Dallas Police. They are absolved of any and all guilt. Aren't they?
