My movie My Stretch of Texas Ground is now available for streaming on Amazon and Vimeo. In it, Islamic warriors, led by the fearsome Abdul Latif Hassan, descend on a small Texas town to assassinate a visiting Senator, but standing in their way is the town's very capable sheriff, Joe Haladin.
But, along the way, we find out what is driving Hassan to kill the Senator, and it's the death toll from the U.S. post 9/11 wars, which have killed more innocents than all the terrorist acts put together, and many times over. Americans researchers have confirmed the horrific death toll; it is not in dispute. The precise number of deaths is disputed, but all are in the horrific range, with even the most conservative counts being many hundreds of thousands.
So, that is the backdrop in which the story is told, but it is a very compelling story otherwise because you know it's heading towards a collision between Haladin and Hassan, but you don't know how it is going to get there, or what is going to happen when it does. The movie is so "politically incorrect" that you just can't assume anything.
And to my usual enemies from the JFK world, this movie decries the killing of innocent people, and there is no doubt about the fact of it. So maybe you should think twice before trashing the movie just because I'm associated with it.
So, why watch My Stretch of Texas Ground? For one: this movie is unique and different; there is nothing else like it. For two, it concerns something that is real and relevant: war and terrorism. For three, the lead characters are big; and I mean huge. Each in his own way fills the screen, and that's due to the actors who played them: Jeff Weber as Sheriff Joe Haladin, Junes Zahdi as Abdul Latif Hassan, and Mike Gassaway as Senator Harlan Cruthers. And fourthly, even though it is a low-budget film, the action scenes, and the build-up to them, are riveting. You are going to be entertained.
So, here is the link to our website which has the links to Amazon and Vimeo, and you can also watch the trailer there.

And if you are a friend or supporter of mine, I ask that you watch the film and then submit a positive review. You know how the movie JFK changed the landscape. Well, maybe this movie can too.
