If you haven't watched this video of CIA Director William Colby testifying to the Church Committee, you should. In it, he says that the secret program called MK NAOMI ran for 18 years, from 1952 to 1970 to design a weapon that could shoot a dissolving drug-containing fleschette into a person that would feel like nothing more than a mosquito bite. And he said that there were different kinds. There was one that would cause a heart attack, and I presume that it contained a clot-forming drug. And there was one that contained a nerve agent. And he was asked about the range, and he said up to 100 meters. Do you realize that that the most distant shot attributed to Oswald was just 88 meters? And if you have been listening to me that JFK was shot in the back high on the hill, just before the Croft photo was taken, then how far to you think it was from the Dal Tex Building to the that point? It was much less than 100 meters. That's the most likely place it was shot from, either from the roof or a high floor.

It is unfortunate that Richard Sprague ever came up with his weaponized umbrella theory because that drew a lot of ridicule and deservedly so. The gun was a standard 45 that was adapted for this use. It was powered by electricity and had a battery in the handle.

This is CIA Agent Mary Embree discussing the heart attack gun.

This article reveals that besides delivering a cardiotoxin, the gun could also deliver a nerve agent.
