This is my response to Chris Peeks concerning the innocence of Jack Ruby. Jack Ruby really was innocent. He no more shot Oswald than you or I did. He was a hapless, child-like, and very mentally-compromised man who was also strung out on drugs. And what they did to him was WORSE than what they did to Oswald, because at least Oswald was of sound mind and could defend himself. And the fact is that Oswald did a lot of damage to the plotters in the two days that he lived. He did a lot of damage to them at the Midnight Press Conference. But, Ruby was hapless and hopeless. It was like targeting a child what they did to him. What they did to Jack Ruby is the deepest, darkest, nastiest secret of the JFK assassination, and if you are blind to it, then you don't know anything about the assassination, and you are serving the killers. Ruby was innocent.
