Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

I have been very busy lately getting ready for the premiere of His Stretch of Texas Ground at the fabled Alamo Drafthouse Theater in Austin next Saturday night, which is sold-out. 

One of the things I have been doing is finalizing the music. We hired a composer to write the score, and I like some of what he wrote. But, for this important scene, I just wasn't pleased with what he did. So, I sat down at the piano and came up with something of my own.  It's me at the piano, and it was my idea to add the viola to it because of all the string instruments, it is closest to the human voice.
