Ralph Cinque:
No, Marsh. Oswald was NOT in the domino room at 12:30. Even Vincent Bugliosi had him leaving the domino room at 12:15. Of course, he had to get him up to the 6th floor.
But, what can we really go by to determine when Oswald was there? Well, he said that he was there when Junior (Jarman) and the short negro (Norman) were milling around. That was well before 12:30 because after that, Jarman and Norman had to go outside, stand around there a while, and then decide to go up to the 5th floor to watch the event, which meant walking down the length of Houston Street to the back of the building, re-entering through the back door, and then taking the elevator up to the 5th floor. And they got there in time to have their picture taken at 12:30.
Oswald got off work like everybody else at 11:45. So, he had 45 minutes to eat his lunch before the motorcade arrived. And, like everyone else, he knew it was coming. So, why would he put off eating his lunch for 45 minutes only to have to eat it during the motorcade? Why would Oswald do that? Why would anyone do that? You have no right to attribute such a behavior to him. You have no right to arrange his values and priorities like that. What right do you have to assume that Oswald had less interest in seeing Kennedy than anyone else?
When first asked at the time of the assassination, Carolyn Arnold said that she saw Oswald between the double doors, which is to say at the doorway, shortly before the motorcade arrived. And what she said then is all that counts. 15 years later, she told a different story, that she saw him in the snack room eating lunch at 12:25. That was BS because he ate his lunch in the Domino room, and he said so. Why the hell would he lie about where he ate his lunch? So forget Carolyn Arnold's 1978 revision. It doesn't count for squat. It was during the HSCA, and I suspect that somebody got to her. Remember, witnesses were dropping like flies, dying left and right. It's her first statement that matters, and she placed Oswald at the doorway.
So, don't let there be a 8,495th time that you say Oswald was in the Domino room during the shooting, Marsh. 8, 494 times is enough times to be wrong.
