It certainly did fit Ruby better than it did Bookhout. Note that it's a different capture on the right. But, getting back to the other:
Notice that on the right, Ruby's eyes look glassy, and he looks like he's staring and mentally in his own world. On the left, he looks focused. He has a lot more hair on the right, but that is fake.
And I can prove to you that it's fake. We have a whole video of Ruby combing his hair. And what you see him do is comb the right side of his head and then the left side, and then the right again a little bit, and then he carefully puts his hat back on. He never runs the comb across the top. That's because there was no hair there. If he had as much hair as Ruby appears to have in his arrest photo...
and that is a lot of hair, and it is LONG hair, he definitely would have combed it. He definitely would have ran his comb across the top of his head from front to back. But, he never does. Watch it:

Keep in mind that we are seeing the top of another man's head above Ruby's. So, Ruby really was practically bald on top, and most of the photos published of him were falsified to give him more hair than he had. Why? Because the Garage Shooter seems to have a lot of thick hair, especially in the Jackson photo.
But, the final thing is the nose, and it's what threw me. On the left, he seems to have a hook nose with a major dip of the nasal tip cartilage. Ruby didn't have that. There is an ugly myth that Jews all have big hook noses. It's nonsense. Ruby was Jewish, but he did not have a hook nose. So, why does he appear to have one on the left? And it's not just the tip. There is a more "Roman" quality of the whole nose. There is just no way that those two noses are the same. So, if that really is Ruby on the left, it means that they "photoshopped" the nose to look like that. Now, I realize that they didn't have Photoshop in 1963. But, I spoke to a professional forensic photographer who told me that it's amazing what they could do with paint in those days, that they could do anything that we can do today with Photoshop. But, why would they want to make his nose look like that? I could only speculate about it. I really don't. I would only be guessing. But, I think it's doable. And considering how well other things match between them, such as the length of the hair on the side and the sideburn and the length of the neck, and the loose skin in front of the neck, and the ear match looks good, and the suit match to the Garage Shooter looks good (which was Bookhout wearing that suit) I have to reconsider that that really is Jack Ruby.
