After all, they control the schools and the corporate media, and that is a huge advantage. They control television. They control what books gets reviewed and lauded on television. And they also know that most famous people are not going to say anything- out of self-interest.
Certainly no one in government would say anything. Even if they know Oswald was innocent, and that the whole official story is a lie, they're not going to say anything if they work for the government. In fact, anyone with an elevated position in the corporate world is pretty much in the same boat. In fact, even most celebrities wouldn't say anything publicly for not wanting to risk their careers. There are a few exceptions, such as Richard Belzer, but not many.
All that control; all that leverage which they do indeed have, has kept a lid on the growth of awareness of Oswald innocence and JFK truth.
But, it could implode on them. The control they have could implode in a hurry. And, one thing that could cause it to implode is burgeoning awareness of Oswald in the doorway.
Let's consider two things: the Single Bullet Theory and Oswald in the doorway.
The Single Bullet theory has probably been the most go-to point in the conspiracy arsenal over the last 51 years. Dr. Cyril Wecht makes it his entire case for conspiracy, the preposterousness of it. Wecht has never defended Lee Harvey Oswald. He rarely mentions Oswald's name. He just talks about the medical evidence for a shot from the front and why it warrants a new investigation.
But, the Single Bullet Theory is never going to arouse the American public to take up the cause of JFK truth in a V for Vendetta kind of way. Do you remember all the people on the street wearing V masks at the end? That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. It's never going to happen that way.
But, Oswald in the doorway, where we can see that it's his build, his features, his clothes, and his expression- hey, people may not know that much about ballistics and bullet wounds, but one thing they do know: a man can't be up on the 6th floor and down in the doorway at the same time. You don't have to be any kind of expert to know that.
And that's the reason, I say, that the powers-that-be know that suppressing Oswald in the doorway is much more important than suppressing the Single Bullet Theory. They can live with the challenges to the Single Bullet Theory. But, they can't live with people knowing that Oswald was standing outside at the time of the shots.
So, here's what they do, and it's very clever: they work to get people who are inside the conspiracy community to denounce it.
They did it in the 1970s with Robert Groden. He has always been a big name in the conspiracy community. So, in 1976, they offered him a good-paying job as a photographic investigator. They treated him like a photographic expert- which he is not. And they also just treated him with a whole lot of respect. Robert likes that. Getting Robert Groden, who is still around, to renounce Oswald in the doorway did tremendous damage to the cause of JFK truth. It hurt the cause a lot; set it back decades.
And that was not the only time they used Groden that way. There have been other trials and experiments in which they politely and respectfully invited Robert Groden to participate. Robert Groden has been their favorite CT; they can do business with him.
Another example of the same thing is Josiah "Tink" Thompson, the author of Six Seconds in Dallas. The very title of his book was a sell-out because it implies that the Warren Commission was right, that all the shots occurred in just six seconds. In fact, the shooting spree was quite a bit longer than that.
But, Tink got help and support when he was writing his book. For instance, he mentioned how cooperative CBS was, opening their files, records, and vaults. And they even told Tink exactly what Billy Lovelady said. Tink could have gone to Denver and talked to Lovelady himself, but who needs to do that if you've got CBS to tell you what he said?
Do you think CBS ever helped Mark Lane? Do you think CBS ever helped Jim Douglas?
Men like Groden and Thompson are just quislings. It's interesting how that word entered our vocabulary. It was the last name of a state official in Norway who embraced the Nazis after they overran the country. They put him in charge, and he tried to explain to the Norwegians why they really were better off being ruled by Nazis. But, things didn't go too well for Quisling after the war ended.
Tink should have realized that the very fact that CBS was helping him was because he was serving their interests, that he was being the kind of conspiracy advocate that they wanted, one who would leave the most dangerous things alone, and even reject the strongest, mightiest evidence in favor of things that would never go anywhere.
And look who published Tink's book: Random House. Do you think Random House was willing to publish JFK and the Unspeakable by Jim Douglass? No, that was published by Orbis books, a small Christian publisher.
So, the way the powers-that-be try to limit the growth of JFK truth is to weigh on those in government and media and in the corporate world and even in Hollywood and television to STFU. And secondly, they get authors like Groden and Thompson to frame their pro-conspiracy books in ways that do little or no real damage to the official story.
But, here are the areas of JFK assassination research which I think have the potential to do the most damage to the official story, the kind of damage that we want:
First, exposure of the altered images, particularly the Altgens photo, the Moorman photo, and the Zapruder film. But, there are plenty more. I have found alterations and outright fabrications in Martin, Wiegman, Hughes, Towner, Nix, and the PD footage. All of the films and still images, without exception, wound up in government hands, and there may not be a single one that is not corrupted. The odds are very great that the JFK assassination is the most photographically altered event of all time.
Second, exposure of the individuals who were involved, such as George HW Bush, Lyndon Johnson, Allen Dulles, Albert Thomas, and many more. Putting names and faces on the plotters is a very good idea.
Third, the promotion of the Two Oswalds as per John Armstrong because there really were two young men who were living their lives as Lee Harvey Oswald. I'm not talking about the use of Oswald doubles. That's a whole separate thing. I mean two full-time Lee Harvey Oswalds. You really should read Harvey and Lee.
Fourth, JFK truthers, which is to say Oswald defenders, should never collude with or cooperate in any way with those on the other side of this battle who advocate Oswald guilt. Unless someone is unequivocally championing Oswald innocence, you steer clear of him. You don't work with him. You don't cooperate with him.
And that includes the fakes and phonies who say they're not sure, after 51 years, whether Oswald killed Kennedy or not. Anyone who says that is working for the other side. They're just John McAdams or David Von Pein with a side of acting. They are quislings. So, don't make nice to them because that would make you a quisling.
What I'm saying is that they've got their people on the conspiracy side of the debate. They have infiltrated it, especially online.
And frankly, they succeeded for a while at quashing the important issues, such as Oswald in the doorway. But those days are over. Oswald is back, and that doorway is his.
