Hughes was a ways back. He was in the street on Houston Street but beyond the Main intersection.

Do you see where it says Hughes in the lower right corner? He was far away from the doorway, but he was also rather far from those street signs. And the idea that they would fill the doorway in the picture seems pretty preposterous.
