Here is Robin Unger's take on the positions of Beers and Jackson, and he puts more distance between them than Gary Mack did.

I hate to disparage the dead (not really) but it's amazing that Gary Mack could be that blockheaded when it jumps out at you that the Beers and Jackson photos were taken at different angles. 

And look at that. It turns out that the uncropped Beers photo was even bigger than we thought. It even included Fritz. I did not know that.

But, that photo still isn't uncropped because now it's cropped on the other side.

But, now that we have Fritz in the Beers, let's compare Fritz in the Beers with Fritz in the Jackson.

Do you think he could shift that much in .6 second?
