This is staggering. This beautiful young American woman, Shannon Kent, was killed in Syria last month. She was in the Navy, and she was deployed there. She was killed by a suicide bomber.
But, she didn't want to be there. She was the mother of two young boys. And she had actively resisted going there, applying for a waver, which was denied. It was her 5th deployment to a war zone. And now she's dead, and her children are motherless.
What has the U.S. Military come to that they have to rip mothers from babies in order to support all their warring? Are there not enough men to do it? God damn them.
