I am going to walk you through it, one step at a time. First, observe that JFK's fist is under his face. It looks more like a hoof than a hand, but we'll put that aside.

But you know, that if his fist is under his face, the farthest his arm can extend out is to the side is his elbow. Here I am doing it, and there is no alternative to this.

So, what is happening in the Altgens photo? What is Jackie grasping? How could his arm be extending all the way out to where her hands are? It's impossible.

What do you think would happen if you put a man and woman in the back of a car and tried to duplicate this? It wouldn't look like this. He would have his elbow bent, as I did, and she would have to be much closer to hiim. She would have to be right next to him. She couldn't be so far away from him that all we could see is her hands. Where is the rest of her? I inserted an image of her to show you how ridiculous it is to think that it looked like this.
