Robin Unger is now claiming that Captain Will Fritz didn't believe what Oswald told him, even though he wrote it down. And that refers to "out with Bill Shelley in front."
Robin, it doesn't matter what Fritz believed. It doesn't matter whether he thought Oswald spoke honestly or lied. Fritz had a legal and moral obligation to tell the Warren Commission the truth about what Oswald said.
And, Fritz knew very well that Oswald did NOT say that he was eating lunch with "other employees" at the time of the shots.
In fact, it's ridiculous on the face of it because the only way that that could happen would be if Oswald chose to miss watching the historic motorcade, in favor of eating lunch in the lunch room and that the other employees did the exact same thing. And that goes against human nature.
When you're let off work at 11:45, and you know that an historic, once-in-a-lifetime event is going to take place at 12:30, you don't put off eating lunch. You get it over and done with so that you can watch the historic event. And what else did they have to do? What would they have spent the 45 minutes doing if they didn't get their lunch-eating completed?
And if there had been an honest fiber in the Warren Commissioner who questioned Fritz, he would have said:
"What??? Are you saying that there were other employees who also chose to ignore the Presidential motorcade and eat their lunch at that time instead? Who are you talking about? We need to get them in here. I'd like to find out first-hand from them if it's true. And I'd also like to know why they did that because they had 45 minutes to eat lunch. So, why did they put it off until the President arrived? It seems like a very strange behavior. Who would do that?"
And, it was a very strange behavior. That is, it would have been a very strange behavior if that's what happened. But, it didn't happen. Fritz lied.
