Oswald in the doorway: the blog of the Oswald Innocence Campaign, by Ralph Cinque

 Even before the JFK assassination, the CIA knew that some people were going to reject the lone nut story. So, they concocted an alternate story which I call Government Story #2. If you don’t like Government Story #1, that Oswald did it alone, then try out Government Story #2 that Oswald did it, and there may have been other shooters, and they were all working for the Mafia. And that is exactly what the HSCA declared in their final report, although, they kept it simple by making it just one other shooter.  

I find it amusing because the HSCA never claimed that Oswald got paid by the Mafia. So what exactly was Oswald’s incentive to kill Kennedy for them?  

In reality, there is no proof that the Mafia had any role whatsoever in the JFK assassination. Were any of the shooters from the Mafia? Some people believe so, but they have no proof. Some people believe James Files’ claim that he was the Grassy Knoll shooter. I’m not one of those people.

It made no sense for the CIA to get any shooters from the Mafia because if they did, then the Mafia would have had dirt on the CIA. Why would the CIA want to reveal to the Mafia that they were killing Kennedy? How could the CIA trust the Mafia? What could the Mafia do with that information? I think it’s more likely that the CIA just started the rumor that there were Mafia shooters, figuring that the rumor would work just as well for them as the fact.

Therefore, why would the Mafia want Oswald dead? What could Oswald tell investigators about the Mafia? Absolutely nothing. Oswald didn’t have a stitch of information about the Mafia. He had nothing whatsoever to do with the Mafia. So, why would the Mafia give a rat’s ass what Oswald said?  

And what is also ridiculous is that Oswald had already undergone 13 hours of interrogation. If he knew anything at all about Mafia complicity, don’t you think he would have said so within 13 hours?  

Nobody ordered Ruby to shoot Oswald. Ruby was just tricked into going there. The perpetrators got Karen Carlin to beg Ruby to go to Western Union to wire her $25. That got him within a block. But, what they also did was line the Main Street ramp entrance with spectators who would catch Ruby’s attention. Those spectators had no reason to be there. It was an incoming ramp. So, who were they waiting for to arrive? Elvis? No!  I’ll tell you who they were waiting for to arrive: it was Jack Ruby.  They were there to be a magnet for Ruby.

Ruby was drugged up more than usual. His doctor had put him on amphetamines. Who was his doctor? We don’t know. Why don’t we know? That’s a good question. We know who Ruby’s rabbi was but not his doctor.

I suspect that someone in Western Union or at Western Union (meaning on the street) casually said to Ruby that he should go down and check out what was happening at the ramp. And Ruby did. Then, the spectators, who were there to attract him, casually nudged him down the ramp. This was about an hour before, and at the time, Lt. Rio Sam Pierce was parked at the top of the ramp; he too waiting for Ruby. And there was an officer on foot, but he wasn’t Roy Vaughn. Vaughn was waiting up at the dispatch office, drinking coffee and chewing the cud with other officers.

So, Ruby went down there to the basement. Then he was jumped by the police. Then they hustled him up to the 5^th floor, where they told him that he shot Oswald.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Patrick Dean went and got Vaughn and ordered him to guard the Main Street ramp. It was all over already for Ruby, but they needed a fall guy, and the fall guy was Roy Vaughn. But, Vaughn turned out to be a fighter. He sued the Dallas PD for claiming that Ruby got past him, but they settled with him out of court. They paid him money. I don’t know how much he got because it wasn’t disclosed.

There was no Mafia order for Ruby to shoot Oswald. There was no such order from anyone. Ruby was mentally impaired, and he was drugged. He may have been hypnotized. And putting it all together, I like to say that he was MK-ULTRA’d. He wasn’t a mind-controlled assassin; he was just a mind-controlled patsy. He was tricked into believing that he shot Oswald.

But, this was perhaps the most Machiavellian plot of all time. It’s not just that they brainwashed Ruby into thinking that he shot Oswald; they brainwashed everybody. And putting Ruby into the Mafia was part of the brainwashing.

Are you aware that Ruby was very active in his temple in Dallas? That he was a very devout Jew? He was not a Mafioso. The whole claim was a vicious lie that was concocted to distance people from the truth that Jack Ruby was innocent; he did not shoot Oswald.
