Hello again Mr. Cinque.
Am I imagining something or is the garage gunman in this film frame much less heavy than
the Jackson photo gunman even allowing for the fact that distance may distort the size of his
body?

Also, it may be the lighting, but the color of the gunman’s hat more closely matches his suit
than in the Jackson photo or in the Beers photo for that matter.
than in the Jackson photo or in the Beers photo for that matter.
In the Jackson and Beers photos, the contrast between the hat and the suit is much greater.
Your thoughts?

Ralph Cinque:
I agree that he does look slimmer there than he does in
Jackson and Beers. I also agree that his hat looks darker
there, not distinctly grey as it looks in Jackson and Beers.
How do I explain it? I can't. It's just a discrepancy. What you
posted is a film frame, whereas Jackson and Beers are photos.
And, they are highly doctored photos. And what I have seen
in the JFK assassination is that images were altered without
concern about matching other images or being consistent with
them. It's as though they did these things without considering
that a person might compare the content of two images. It's
as though each image exists in its own world. As I have said
many times, Beers and Jackson, which are the two main images
of record of the Oswald shooting aren't even consistent with
each other, showing different figures, different positions,
different arrangements, etc. They didn't even consider that a
person might compare Beers to Jackson, which, reportedly,
were separated by only .6 second.
In a word, they didn't make these images for thinking people.
They made them for believing people.
