Hi Mr. Cinque,
Just wanted to note that the ceiling microphone is visible in the
Beers photo but not in the Jackson photo.
How did that occur in 0.6 of a second?
ZZZ
RC: It is important to realize that the Beers and Jackson photos
are the photographic record of the Oswald shooting, not the
films. That's because in 1963, the public didn't have the films.
Today, we have them because we can go on Youtube any
time we want and watch them over and over, study
them, slow them down, and really hone-in on the details.
But, you couldn't do that then. So, Beers and Jackson were
meant to be the lasting images, the lasting impressions of the
Oswald shooting. And they were made with that very idea in
mind. They are both highly staged, highly orchestrated images.
And the stories that go with each are just part of the schtick.
But when you think about what they gave away, such as the
microphone and the grey socks on Bookhout in Beers, which
Ruby obviously didn't wear, you have to wonder how they
could be so stupid.
