I am very pleased to announce that My Stretch of Texas Ground has become an Official Selection of the Austin IndieFest Film Festival. It will be screened at the festival, and I believe they expect to have a panel of those involved in making the film take questions afterwards. I don't know the schedule yet, but the festival will be held the weekend of November 8 thru 10 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center next to Austin Airport.

This means a lot to me because the film was shot in the Austin area by the Austin film community, and it is very much a Central Texas story. And, it is a very unique film with an impassioned message about war and terrorism. There are not that many films in this world that can be said to be important, but this is definitely one of them.
