Every action starts with a thought in someone's mind and gets communicated by that someone flapping his lips. So, who flapped? Who was the flapper about this?
There is very little written on it. Most sources just say that there was a midnight press conference, but they don't say why and how it came about and who conceived of it.
I did find this statement which attributes it to Dallas Police Chief Jesse Curry, but note that this isn't evidence. It's just a claim. It could have been made up because someone thought it sounded good. But, it is typical.
Jesse Curry claimed that the News Media pressured him to let them see LHO at midnight, to “prove that LHO was not being maltreated.
Note that it doesn't make sense. There was no News Media. There were just reporters. So, reporters, one by one, pressured him? How many are we talking about? And when it came to "seeing" Oswald, they had been seeing him all afternoon. They talked to him in the hall. They accompanied him to everything he did. And the idea that the News Media was concerned that Oswald as being mistreated is ridiculous. That was never ever voiced by anyone in the News Media.
And realize that that is the same exact excuse for conducting the jail transfer the way they did on Sunday morning, as a media circus, a media spectacle. But, the real purpose of it was definitely to kill Oswald. So, the real purpose of the Midnight Press Conference was probably also to kill him.
So, why didn't they go through with it? It may simply have been that Ruby wasn't there. We have two images of him, and one of them definitely isn't him.
Now obviously, that is not Jack Ruby, and that is from the film. He looks better in the still frame they made from the film, but even it is clearly not him. Then, the only other image of Ruby at the Midnight Press Conference is the one that the Wizard proved is a still image inserted into the film.
In Ruby's narrative, co-written with television script writer William Read Woodfield, Ruby supposed said, "I got up on a table so that I would be out of the way and could see everything." So, if we believe that, then that makes this picture fraudulent. Right? He's not up on a table, and he is mingled with everyone else.
So, that's a contradiction. But, I presume that that was written based on this:
But, what does it mean to "get up on a table"? How? It seems to me that it would have to mean either standing on the table or sitting on the table. Well, surely he didn't stand on the table. That would have been making a spectacle of himself and drawing attention to himself. But, if he merely sat on the table, there was no advantage to seeing better. You could see better by just standing in front of the table. So, neither sitting nor standing on the table make any sense at all. And what is he doing in the picture above? He is certainly not sitting on the table; nor is he standing on it. And as I said before, Ruby is too small in comparison to the men in front of him, and it cannot be accounted for. THE WIZARD IS RIGHT! IT IS A BOGUS IMAGE. And he has been saying it for years now.
So, that means that the two image of Ruby at the Midnight Press Conference are both bogus. What does that tell you? It should tell you that Ruby probably never made it into the room, and that may be why they aborted the killing. That, and the fact that Oswald was doing a lot of damage.
So, these may be the same man, but it is definitely not the same day. And as for the guy on the right:
The nose on the right looks right, while the other is weird for Ruby. Why is the ear so distorted on the right? The hair, of course, is way off. It's hard to reconcile these images as well. I will tell you emphatically that the photographic contradictions in Ruby's image is proof in itself that he was framed and innocent. This much photo manipulation cannot be done innocently. This was criminal activity.
